I’m always looking for places that offer good Puerto Rican food; something that taste close to what I grew up having in PR! There’s been a couple of places in this are that have come close but I have to say Yukayete was the best...so far. The food was delicious, the service was good and the price was fair. Overall it was great!
I have to say this very clearly, THIS IS THE BEST PUERTO RICAN FOOD IN FLORIDA. this made me feel like I was back home. It was my first time eating here and I got the white rice and beans with pernil. Unbelievable taste. Mouth full of flavors. I highly recommend eating here if you haven’t tried it yet. I promise you, it’s the best food in town. Thank you Chef Luis for bringing the island flavors to Florida.
I'm not a fan of food in FL. I spent too many years in the NYC metro area and I have a very difficult palate to satisfy, needless to say I am usually disappointed with the food AND the service that Florida has given me. That was not the case here. The food is flavorful. Portions are just right. The owner was super friendly, personable, and accessible. I KNOW puertorrican food, so it is even harder to please me in this department, but boy was I pleasantly surprised with the food here. Great find! I recommend this place 100%. Pretty much a takeout restaurant so don't bring your family to eat here. Come, order, take it home or to a part, and FEAST!
My fiancee and I are getting married next month and have been looking for a place to cater our wedding reception. We saw this place had such amazing reviews that we traveled from Jacksonville to come in person and check it out ourselves. OMG!!! The food is unbelievably delicious. My fiancee and I loved the food!! We had to speak to Luis personally to tell him how much we loved the food. We asked him to cater are wedding!!! This place is a must.
I recently learned about this place and experienced their food options. The food was delicious, arroz con gandules, amarillos, pollo asado. In addition, we had delicious empanadillas de pionono. If you want to try the best pinchos de pollo, you have to try this place!! Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy very delicious food from our Island. Keep it up guys!!

This place has the best Puerto Rican food we’ve had that wasn’t in Puerto Rico. I had the Surf and Turf Mofongo and my husband had the Fried Pork. Everything was amazing. Relatively new business that is working on expanding to have a sit down area, currently just a couple of small tables inside. Definitely worth stopping by and grabbing food to take home with you.
Authentic Puerto Rican cuisine and absolutely delicious. You can’t beat the prices and the portion size. We ordered the Bistec Encebollado with Tostones and the Carne Frita Encebollado with Mofongo. Lots of good flavor and a nice spot to try out. We can’t wait to dine in and order from El Yukayeke again in the future.
